Located in Center Township, Pennsylvania,
Paula Scriva Dance Studio offers a quality dance education that meets the needs of both recreational and competitive dancers.
For over 50 years, we have provided ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and acrobatic classes for girls and boys 3 to 18 years of age. Private lessons are available for the dancer who wishes to increase their knowledge and skill in the art of dancing. Our studio also offers the option of a ballet and contemporary technique class taught once a week to our students. Each June, we showcase the season with a fabulous recital. In the following months, summer classes are instructed during the off season to allow the more serious dancer to keep their skills and technique sharp.
Our highly trained instructors genuinely take an interest in every child, helping them to achieve their highest capabilities. While Paula Scriva Dance Studio realizes the importance of praising a student’s techniques, we also take the time to work upon their weaknesses. Our studio embraces dancing as an art in which individuals develop exceptional posture and strength, along with strong personalities and self confidence. Dance classes are also an opportunity for children to gain experience in being a part of a group and working with others, while still having fun.
Furthermore, our award winning studio has had great success in a variety of dance competitions throughout the years. We are proud to say that many of our dancers have qualified to participate in the Beaver County Junior Miss scholarship program, along with other state and local talent pageants. We have had students who chose to pursue their dancing career at schools such as NYU, Juilliard, and Point Park University on full scholarships. Paula Scriva Dance Studio takes pride in the number of students that have grown and gone on to star in professional dance companies, broadway, commercials, and national tours, work as dance choreographers, and even begin studios of their own.
